About the role

  • Proactively engage with mid-market prospects to uncover business challenges and demonstrate how EDB’s Postgres AI solutions can drive innovation and operational efficiency.
  • Execute targeted outbound campaigns to generate qualified opportunities across key industries such as Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Public Sector and manage them from lead to closure.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, effectively qualifying and advancing opportunities with a focus on driving customer value.
  • Partner with Commercial and Enterprise AEs to seamlessly transition accounts that grow beyond the mid-market segment or require strategic support.
  • Deliver a consultative sales experience, helping customers understand how EDB’s Postgres-powered data platform supports AI-driven analytics, sovereignty, and scale.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity, pipeline, and opportunity details in Salesforce and other SaaS tools to ensure transparency and alignment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in an SDR, Inside Sales, AE, or Business Development role, ideally in the technology or SaaS industry.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals and managing the full sales cycle.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and handle objections effectively.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Salesloft, Clari, or similar CRM tools.
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and coordinate across cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
