About the role
- Independent responsibility for managing prequalified projects through to contract award (service phases 0–4)
- Support and review of concepts; independently preparing cost estimates and proposals in the area of building construction/renovation
- Responsibility for the tender phase: preparation and review of contract calculations, creation of proposals including contract drafts and attachments, project management, negotiation and conclusion of construction contracts
- Coordination of interdisciplinary bidding teams of architects and specialist engineers to develop technical solutions
- Conducting site inspections and technical condition surveys of buildings
- Independently handling reactive tender enquiries and bids, including public procurements
- Participation in bidder and contract-award meetings and presentation of concepts and proposals
- Evaluation and integration of subcontractor offers into overall bids
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering (Construction) or a comparable technical or commercial qualification
- Several years of professional experience in project management, planning, cost estimating, contract management, sales, and work preparation for turnkey construction projects (prior knowledge of VOB desirable)
- Strong technical and commercial understanding, and a high level of customer and service orientation
- Strong communication skills, confident presence, enjoyment in working with people, and negotiation skills
- Entrepreneurial thinking, initiative, and a structured, responsible way of working — enthusiasm for technically steering projects and providing holistic support during the tender phase
- High motivation, hands-on mentality and willingness to learn — also in new areas
- Proficient with common software solutions
- Very good written and spoken German and professional manners
- Willingness to travel nationwide in Germany
