About the role

  • Technical responsibility within a growing GreenTech startup
  • You will take on a key role in our team, combining technical problem-solving with the further development of our digital infrastructure
  • Close collaboration with Service, Sales & Marketing teams
  • Diverse responsibilities — from operational IT support to co-designing and technically implementing our tools
  • Technical support & troubleshooting
  • Second-level support for the internal team and customer platforms
  • Incident analysis, root-cause investigation and implementation of solutions
  • Administration of our WordPress environment (plugins, updates, security) and internal tools (ERP, databases)
  • Data management: corrections, analyses and reporting (MySQL, data pipelines) and optimization of data flows
  • Infrastructure & automation
  • Further development of our IT landscape: implementing strategic goals in security, compliance and scalability
  • Process automation (e.g., with Make / n8n / Zapier) — especially in the area of EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) compliance
  • API integration & synchronization: connecting our tools with external systems (webhooks, pipelines)
  • Software development & innovation
  • Development of extensions (PHP/JavaScript) for WordPress, internal and external tools — from small plugins to complex features
  • Testing & quality assurance: unit, integration and system tests (manual/automated) as well as data-injection tests.

Requirements

  • Technical expertise
  • Practical experience with: automation tools (Make / n8n / Zapier), API programming (REST / GraphQL) and AI
  • Databases, FTP, Git and ticketing systems
  • Testing methodologies (unit and integration tests) and logging (e.g., Graylog)
  • Bonus: Linux/Docker, Bash scripting, Agile testing, GUI test frameworks or LLMs, PHP, MySQL, WordPress development
  • Analytical thinking & problem-solving skills
  • Quick comprehension — you understand complex relationships quickly and can communicate them clearly
  • Experience in live operations (maintenance, monitoring, staging environments)
  • Sense of responsibility and team fit
