About the role
- Ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) in accordance with US-GAAP and local legislation.
- Responsibility for the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Developing and maintaining financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Providing strategic financial leadership and guidance to the CEO and senior management team.
- Leading and mentoring the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Overseeing internal and external audits.
- Communicating financial performance and key insights clearly and concisely to non-financial audiences.
- Establishing and maintaining SOX compliance processes.
- Developing and maintaining financial dashboards for all departments to monitor success.
Requirements
- Experience with US GAAP accounting standards and SOX compliance framework
- Experience with implementation of compliance frameworks, ideally at a public company
- Experience with cooperation & coordination with large finance organizations - you will work with our parent company Vertex
- German language skills
- Experience with Austrian and German Tax law
