About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, implement, and maintain new features and modules for PHP-based software products
Work within the shop software as well as on integrations and API endpoints
Continuously improve the product, processes, and development teams by contributing ideas and suggestions for improvement
Use PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MySQL, Git, and Scrum
Ensure the quality, performance, and security of the shop software and other applications
Troubleshoot issues, optimize existing code, and write clean, stable code

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficiency in PHP and commonly used frameworks
Proven experience successfully delivering complex projects
Practical experience in the same or a similar role
Experience with shop software/e-commerce software
Good knowledge of and experience with e-commerce standards such as RESTful APIs and OAuth is desirable
Passion for e-commerce
Degrees or certifications are not required; experience is valued more highly
Residence and work performed within Germany are required
