ERP Process Engineer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set up, review, and maintain production routings with the right sequences, work centres, and standard times
- Keep BOMs, routings, and master data accurate so planning, costing, and scheduling actually work
- Make sure system data reflects what’s really happening on the shop floor (and fix it when it doesn’t)
- Run time and motion studies to establish realistic labour standards
- Update standard times in the ERP to support costing, capacity, and accountability
- Create and maintain clear work instructions and SOPs operators can actually use
- Identify bottlenecks, waste, and non‑value‑added steps — then help remove them
- Work closely with Production, Planning, Finance, and Continuous Improvement
- Support data clean‑up, governance, and migration activities for ERP changes
- Play your part in maintaining a safe, compliant working environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years’ experience as a Process, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineer
- Hands-on experience managing routings, BOMs, and master data in an ERP system
- Practical experience running time studies and setting labour standards
- A solid understanding of discrete manufacturing (machining, assembly, fabrication, or similar)
- The ability to turn engineering requirements into clear, operator‑friendly documentation
- Confidence working with production teams and challenging “the way we’ve always done it” — constructively
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar
- Experience with IFS, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or SAP (Nice to have)
- Involvement in ERP implementations, upgrades, or data migrations (Nice to have)
- Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement tools (Nice to have)
- SolidWorks experience for drawing updates and interpretation (Nice to have)
