Applications Engineer
Ecologi | B Corp™Applications Engineer providing design expertise for Technical Ceramics applications. Interfacing with customers to drive new business and develop application solutions in a global organization.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Interface with customers to develop new applications and enhance existing products
- Provide applications development support to Technical Ceramics’ multi-site, cross regional technology families
- Develop account strategy in the area of applications and engineering support
- Work with Procurement Department and suppliers for cost-effective component solutions
- Develop new product proposals and present to customers
- Manage customer relationships through all levels of customer’s organization
- Share knowledge and educate the organization on customer applications and product offerings
- Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state, and federal EHS regulations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of technical sales or applications engineering experience
- Degree from a four-year University or 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work in complex organizational structures
- Strong commercial experience including customer relations/pricing/marketing
- Strategic business acumen and planning ability
- Excellent communication skills that focus on clarity and simplicity, both written and oral
- Experience and understanding of an international culture
