About the role
- Lead and execute continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for optimization
- Conduct time studies to evaluate cycle times and identify bottlenecks
- Design and execute systems of experiments (DOE) to validate process improvements and optimize parameters
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Interpret engineering drawings and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure compliance with specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve process-related issues and support new product introductions
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report progress on improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and GD&T
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Experience in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects
- Familiarity with aerospace or industrial manufacturing standards (AS9100, AS13100) is a plus
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and CNC programming
- Individual must be a Citizen of the United States, or Permanent resident alien of the United States, or Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324(a)(3)
