About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with existing customers through regular service visits
  • Learn how customers’ systems operate and gain hands-on experience with the equipment, technologies, and solutions you will work with day-to-day
  • Support the installation, maintenance, and safe operation of systems and help customers keep their facilities fully operational
  • Train and support customer teams so they feel confident using Ecolab solutions
  • Gradually develop the ability to identify improvement opportunities, perform technical demonstrations, and support growth in your assigned territory
  • Work closely with colleagues across teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service) to ensure the best possible customer experience
  • Contribute to Ecolab’s growth by supporting outreach activities and helping to build our brand in Germany

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed technical or scientific vocational training, technician/master craftsman qualification, or a relevant degree (ideally in chemical engineering, process engineering, or chemistry)
  • Interest in building a career in technical sales
  • Willingness to learn, openness to feedback, and motivation to continuously develop new skills
  • Solution-oriented and creative mindset
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new situations and challenges
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • At least B1 level of English
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within your assigned sales territory and occasionally nationwide
