About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a portfolio of clients in the water treatment and sanitation segment, ensuring ongoing relationships and client retention
  • Active prospecting (hunter) of new clients and opportunities in the assigned region
  • Conduct technical sales, presenting chemical solutions and technologies applied to water treatment (e.g., chlorine dioxide)
  • Provide field support for applications, ensuring correct product usage and solution performance
  • Perform technical diagnostics of client needs and propose process improvements and optimizations
  • Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate contracts
  • Liaise with internal teams (technical, operations, logistics) to ensure delivery and execution of solutions
  • Monitor performance indicators (sales, consumption, portfolio profitability)
  • Map the market and competitors, identifying strategic opportunities
  • Frequent travel to serve clients in the region (technical and commercial visits)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related fields
  • Postgraduate degree or specialization in water treatment, sanitation, or industrial processes (differential). Relevant courses include: water and wastewater treatment, industrial chemical processes, and technical/consultative sales
  • Certifications related to chemical safety (e.g., safe handling of chemicals), environmental and quality standards, and training in commercial methodologies (e.g., B2B sales, negotiation)
  • Availability to work in Curitiba, PR
