About the role
- Provide project engineering services for capital equipment and system upgrade/retrofit projects
- Support all phases of a project from initial design/cost estimating, client proposal development through fabrication, installation to start-up and commissioning
- Conduct site surveys and client meetings
- Prepare system proposals for submission to clients and end users
- Prepare data sheets and equipment specifications
- Develop P&IDs/PFDs
- Resolve application questions/problems and making equipment recommendations for "non-project" situations
- Utilize project management tools to maintain project budgets and monitor delivery schedules
- Prepare/complete final project documentation (drawings, data sheets, etc.)
- Provide technical support to marketing and field sales as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an accepted engineering or technical discipline
- 6 years technical experience in industrial environments
- Ability to travel 30%
- Five plus years of experience in Project Engineering with chemical dosing systems, bulk storage equipment, or instrumentation
- Experience with water pre-treatment equipment or food & beverage cleaning equipment experience with equipment selection, sizing, start-up, and commissioning
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Knowledge of materials of construction and water treatment chemistry
- PMI certification
- AutoCAD experience
- Experience in designing skid mounted equipment packages
