About the role
- Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of SAP projects, including S/4HANA implementations, module rollouts, upgrades, and enhancements
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budget
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful delivery
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing project team
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
- Manage project budgets and allocate resources efficiently
- Ensure all project deliverables meet high-quality standards
- Work closely with change management teams to ensure smooth user adoption of new SAP solutions
- Manage relationships and performance of external vendors
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing large-scale IT projects
- At least 5 years specifically managing SAP projects
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, SAP Activate, PRINCE2) preferred
- Demonstrated experience with full life-cycle SAP implementations
- Proven experience in managing project budgets of $[e.g., 1M+] or more
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture and key modules (e.g., FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, HCM)
- Experience with S/4HANA implementation methodology is a significant plus
- Familiarity with various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
