About the role

  • Overall responsibility for procurement at our sites in Menden and Luckenwalde (operational & strategic)
  • Lead, coach and develop the decentralized purchasing teams
  • Harmonize processes and implement unified procurement standards
  • Optimize supply chains; establish and maintain strategic supplier relationships
  • Cost and quality management: identify improvement opportunities and implement measures consistently
  • Work cross-functionally with Production, Logistics, R&D and Sales
  • Regular on-site presence at both locations — lead where value is created

Requirements

  • Degree in business or engineering/technical field, or equivalent qualification
  • Several years' experience in procurement / supply chain management, ideally with initial managerial responsibility
  • Passion for process optimization, efficiency and structure
  • Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and decisiveness
  • Hands-on mentality with a holistic view — entrepreneurial mindset and solution-oriented
  • High willingness to travel and ability to connect people and locations
  • Confident user of ERP systems and modern digital procurement tools
