About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare journal entries for assigned accounts; review GL accounts/financial statements for reasonableness
Prepare reconciliations for assigned accounts
Assist with the monthly flux analysis by compiling data requested by Manager or Senior Accountant
Identify areas of inefficiency in daily tasks and work with the Senior Accountant to solution
Identify events - i.e., missing rent, utilities, charges posted to wrong accounts etc.
As required, assist Senior Accountant with estimating amounts to accrue, defer, reverse or change based upon historical data and knowledge of business.
Agree balances to supporting documentation/source (operating system, bank statements, etc)
Identify/research/resolve any unusual balances for trial balance and P&L accounts
Work with Seniors and Managers to foster personal career development
Ensure security and integrity of Rentokil North America’s financial information
Assist Senior Accountant with performing ad-hoc financial analysis
Assist with Internal and External Audits by compiling requested data and support documentation
Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field or equivalent relevant experience - Required
MBA in finance, accounting or related field - Preferred
1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance fields
Experience with multi-unit organization
Ability to develop strong working relationships with leaders and act as a partner on all financial-related decisions.
Thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment while maintaining focus on delivering repeatable, reliable solutions with flawless execution and superior customer service.
Ability to work independently, setting own priorities and objectives with leadership support.
Skilled at focusing on desired results, determining what is important and urgent, identifying next steps, and effectively meeting deadlines and achieving desired results.
Ability to maintain highly confidential information.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be willing to work night shift schedules (US hours) and during PH Holidays.
Must be able to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa when work in the office resumes (temp WFH).
