About the role
- Support market and credit risk management activities in the Energy Commercialization Risk area.
- Monitor energy market risk exposure and results (mark-to-market and profit/loss).
- Support the development and implementation of improvements to activities and methodologies used for calculating energy market risk.
- Follow developments in energy trading platforms (BBCE and N5X) and participate in sector meetings on the subject.
- Update the department reports and assist in developing reports in Power BI.
- Credit Risk Management: monitor credit limits for energy commercialization operations and assess counterparties' credit quality.
- Support compliance with the Energy Commercialization Risk Management Policy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related fields.
- Prior experience in risk management or similar roles in the energy sector.
- Knowledge of the energy market, regulations and risk management practices.
- Desirable: knowledge of portfolio management (generation and trading).
- Intermediate Power BI and Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of a programming language (Python or others) and experience with risk management systems (D-Risk DCIDE, Norus Imeris or others) are a plus.
- Basic English proficiency desirable.
