About the role

  • Work with routines for extracting and processing SAP ECC data in the CO/FM/IM modules to support budget tracking and provide support to business areas;
  • Support planning and control of OPEX/SG&A and CAPEX by analyzing variances (Actual vs. Forecast vs. Budget) and providing critical insight into deviations to anticipate diagnoses and propose actions to improve results;
  • Support the budget control process together with managers responsible for cost centers;
  • Assist in the preparation and development of the company budget (OPEX/SG&A and CAPEX) using the OBZ methodology;
  • Monitor the accounting close process, performing accounting-management reconciliations and ensuring consistency of figures with the Accounting team;
  • Assist in preparing detailed management reports on the company’s financial results and performance for the board and shareholders (Grupo Equatorial);
  • Actively participate in new projects to optimize costs/expenses;
  • Help maintain and update financial dashboards in Power BI.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field;
  • Interest in learning financial planning and control activities (Budget, Forecast, Close processes) with a focus on OPEX/SG&A and CAPEX;
  • Curiosity about the renewable energy sector;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.);
  • Knowledge and skills with data tools;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • The following will be considered a plus:
  • Prior experience with SAP ERP systems and Power BI;
  • Solid knowledge of accounting;
  • Intermediate English.
