About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements and related disclosures.
Coordinate the preparation and filing of SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other required filings.
Manage XBRL tagging and electronic filing requirements.
Prepare required government financial reports.
Research and interpret U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
Prepare financial disclosures related to acquisitions, divestitures, and other complex transactions.
Support capital market transactions and related financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with SEC regulations, U.S. GAAP, and SOX requirements.
Maintain and improve internal controls over financial reporting.
Coordinate external and internal audit activities.
Maintain and support financial reporting systems.
Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting packages.
Oversee financial reporting for employee benefit plans and other required filings.
Review the work of accounting staff for accuracy and completeness.
Coach, mentor, and develop team members.
Participate in finance transformation initiatives, system implementations, acquisitions, and other special projects.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's degree preferred.
CPA certification preferred.
5+ years of experience in public accounting, corporate financial reporting, or a combination of both.
Experience preparing SEC filings and financial statements.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance.
Experience with financial reporting and consolidation software is preferred.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to develop and mentor team members.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
