About the role
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations; investigate discrepancies and coordinate with internal teams and banking institutions.
- Manage capital project accounting, including setup, closure, and reporting to senior leadership.
- Run monthly depreciation schedules and calculate capitalized interest.
- Prepare and post journal entries for payroll, fixed assets, banking, and tax transactions.
- Complete monthly account reconciliations and assist in audit, tax, and regulatory reporting.
- Respond to customer insurance requests in coordination with third-party providers.
- Support cash flow analysis and various management reports.
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- Professional designation (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and analytical techniques.
- Experience with ERP systems and fixed asset management preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is a plus.
