About the role

  • Develop robust ETL pipelines with Talend, integrate data sources, and optimize data flows for scalable architectures.
  • Advise clients on the latest data integration capabilities, primarily using the Qlik portfolio (Qlik Talend Cloud, Talend Studio, Change Data Capture).
  • Design and implement ETL/ELT processes using Talend Studio and Qlik Talend Cloud.
  • Connect heterogeneous data sources (SQL, APIs, flat files, cloud services).
  • Build and maintain data pipelines for batch and near-real-time processing.
  • Perform data modeling and transformation for data warehouse and data lake architectures.
  • Perform performance tuning of data flows and optimize loading processes.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and error handling in production pipelines.

Requirements

  • Proven, expert-level experience in data integration with Talend
  • Knowledge of ETL best practices and ability to work in a structured, solution-oriented manner
  • Many years of hands-on experience with Talend products (Open Studio, Data Integration, Talend Cloud)
  • Deep understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data modeling, and data flow design
  • Ideally, experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and data lakes
  • Analytical thinking and enjoyment of working independently with clients
  • Excellent German and English skills, spoken and written (minimum C1 level)
