About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical guidance and oversight for archaeological and cultural resource projects
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations
Oversee project review workflows and monitor project milestones and reporting schedules
Assist the Technical Director in maintaining and improving report templates and technical guidance documents
Supervise, mentor, and develop archaeological staff
Support proposal development, project scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and pricing efforts
Participate in client meetings and industry events to support business development

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's Degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, Historic Preservation, Cultural Resources Management, or a related field
Minimum of 6 years of full-time professional archaeological experience
Demonstrated experience managing archaeological projects and staff under federal, state, and local regulatory frameworks
Principal Investigator qualifications in one or more states preferred
Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required
Strong technical writing, editing, and quality review skills
Thorough understanding of cultural resource management practices, archaeological field methods, and historic preservation regulations, including NHPA, Section 106, and NEPA
