About the role
- You are responsible for the commercial management and development of our product portfolio — from reordering and inventory levels to digital merchandising.
- You always maintain an overview of performance, profitability and process efficiency.
- Analyze and manage the financial results of our product groups (sales, margins, inventory turnover).
- Operational responsibility for reorders, invoice verification, overstock management and returns processing.
- Close collaboration with Marketing to plan and evaluate PPC campaigns and sales promotions.
- Derive actionable recommendations to optimize the portfolio and increase revenue.
- Act as the interface between Purchasing, Sales, Marketing and Logistics — you keep all threads together.
Requirements
- Degree or commercial vocational training in business, retail or media management
- 3–6 years of professional experience
- Experience in category management, e-commerce or portfolio management (ideally in a retail or publishing environment)
- You think like an entrepreneur and have a strong commercial mindset
- You work hands-on, seek pragmatic solutions and want to make an impact
- You are driven by impact and results
- Analytical, structured and able to keep track of numbers and processes
- Experience with Amazon or other marketplaces is desirable
- Very good German and English skills (at least C1)
