Account Manager – Focus Category SMB
eBayAccount Manager driving sustainable GMV growth for SMB and high value sellers at eBay. Providing strategic business support and ensuring overall account success through relationship management and analysis.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive sustainable GMV growth across a defined book of SMB and high value sellers
- Act as commercially driven consultants combining data insight, product expertise, and structured business planning
- Be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of B2C sellers, helping them achieve sustainable growth
- Build strong relationships and provide strategic business support
- Drive overall account success through consultative, client-facing role
- Conduct structured monthly business reviews with every seller
- Use data and performance insights to prioritize actions that deliver the highest commercial impact
- Communicate the progress of business initiatives to internal and external partners
- Support sellers via email, phone, and virtual meetings
- Collaborate with internal partners to onboard new clients, solve challenges, and deliver a seamless seller experience
- Stay up-to-date on eBay marketplace trends and advocate for clients’ needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–3+ years of experience in account management, client services, customer success, or a similar role
- Demonstrated success delivering revenue growth in a commercially driven environment
- Confident presenter able to lead structured performance conversations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative and strategic mindset
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for delivering measurable results
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM systems and productivity tools (e.g., Salesforce, GSuite, etc.)
- Experience in eCommerce, marketplace platforms, or B2C sales is a plus
