About the role
- Lead the product strategy and roadmap for improving upper funnel experience on search
- Synthesize data from analytics, user research, marketing research, and design to identify key customer unmet needs and build product vision with search item tiles
- Work closely with cross-functional teams of engineering, design, analytics, product marketing, and user research to deliver products
- Lead the execution of the roadmap with data science, engineering, and analytics teams
- Build MVPs, iterate fast and champion execution excellence
- Conduct AB tests for launch candidates and work with analytics teams to measure impact on success metrics
Requirements
- 10+ years of understanding of search and discovery systems, including familiarity with ranking models, search algorithms, and semantic search
- Experience in personalization and recommender systems, ideally using real-time data
- Strong analytic skills and ability to synthesize data from multiple sources
- Passionate advocate for user, and has confirmed results in achieving superb user experience within tight constraints
- Demonstrated leadership ability, self-motivated and directed, entrepreneurial ability to innovate quickly
