Service Engineer
EBARA Precision Machinery Europe (EPME)Field Service Engineer role for on-site support of CMP semiconductor equipment at EBARA. Responsible for installations, upgrades, and maintenance in a cleanroom environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide on-site field service support through the performance of installations, upgrades, repairs, and maintenance of complex CMP capital equipment in a cleanroom environment
- Working to a shift pattern of days and night shifts, analyse, diagnose, and troubleshoot EPME CMP equipment problems
- Perform installations, repairs, upgrades as well as preventive maintenance on CMP systems installed at the customer site
- Maintain an assigned installation equipment base
- Report out to both the onsite customer and local management on weekly basis detailing system performance and ongoing activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Higher Certificate/Apprenticeship (NFQ level 6) in a technical field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a HVM environment
- Ordinary Bachelor’s Degree (NFQ level 7) in a technical field with a minimum of 1 year experience
- Extensive experience in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and software (PLC) systems is desirable
- Must be able to demonstrate effectively and clearly the ability to deliver clear and concise information to both the internal and external customers
- Eligible to live and work in Ireland
