About the role
- Lead the global assurance and compliance function to ensure EEE financial reporting accuracy, transparency, and IFRS compliance.
- Oversee technical accounting, financial statement quality, audit readiness, and resolution of control deficiencies across the global finance organization.
- Own the global internal control framework; develop, maintain, and enforce process narratives, accounting manuals, policies, and procedural documentation.
- Manage Senior Technical Accounting Manager, Audit Liaison Manager, and Finance Manager – Quality; provide hiring, discipline, performance appraisal recommendations.
- Serve as primary liaison with external auditors (Deloitte) and internal auditors; ensure timely audit deliverables and schedules.
- Oversee tracking, remediation, and reporting of audit deficiencies to management and audit committees.
- Lead global initiatives to strengthen balance sheet reconciliations, controls, and supporting documentation.
- Develop and monitor KPI dashboards for timeliness, accuracy, and quality of global financial reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement and provide training for regional and corporate finance teams on technical accounting and assurance matters.
- Collaborate with IT/ERP project teams to integrate assurance and quality checks into Oracle, SAP, Concur, FCCS implementations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance.
- CPA, ACA, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of finance/accounting experience, with a focus on technical accounting, audit, and assurance in global organizations.
- Preferred: Prior experience in a Big Four audit firm (PwC, Deloitte, EY, or KPMG), with exposure to large-scale, cross-border audit or assurance engagements.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, internal controls, and external audit processes.
- Demonstrated experience in managing audit cycles and resolving control deficiencies.
- Proven leadership experience managing diverse finance teams across geographies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment under tight deadlines.
- Experience with ERP systems and finance tools (Oracle, SAP, Concur, FCCS).
