Key responsibilities & impact

Primary interface for the client for technical issues regarding turbomachinery rerate hardware and/or engineered modifications
Primary technical contact for sub-suppliers of major purchased components
Collecting and analyzing detailed technical information
Effectively communicating technical information regarding the assigned project
Responding to new or unfamiliar complex situations with guidance and direction

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering discipline
1 to 4 years of experience as a Project Engineer, or equivalent
Ability to manage sub-suppliers and function as a Lead Project Engineer
Ability to provide quality customer service and support
Desire for continuous education and training effort
Good basic work habits, promptness, and dependability
Self-directed worker, with good work ethic
Able to follow directions and procedures
Professional and business-like behavior
Above average communication skills, verbal and written
Ability to interface across different cultural lines
Ability to travel (15-20%), including outside the US
Excellent computer skills regarding Word, Excel, and Power Point
Proficient with Elliott Business Systems, Project Management (PM), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic work environment
Developed time management skills, ability to balance demand among various projects
Additional work hours or temporary schedule adjustment may be required.
