About the role
- Coordinates / performs maintenance and repairs on the physical building and equipment
- Ensures compliance with regulatory standards
- Maintains documentation of compliance activities
- Works with COO and oversees contracts with vendors
- Provides on-call coverage for facility emergencies
- Attends OAC meetings and works with construction management
Requirements
- College degree in a related engineering field or relevant experience
- 3-5 years of hospital facility management or maintenance supervision experience
- Extensive knowledge of Joint Commission, Life Safety, and Environment of Care standards
- Knowledge of Joint Commission survey process
- Required License: Drivers license with safe driving record
- Certification: Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) or relevant certification
