About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identification and outreach to potential B2B customers (e.g., IT managers, CIOs, heads of digital transformation).
- Initiate first contact via digital channels such as email, LinkedIn, phone, or at industry events.
- Qualify leads based on technical requirements and business needs.
- Conduct discovery calls to assess customer needs in a structured manner.
- Work closely with marketing to align campaigns and optimize the lead-nurturing process.
- Document, maintain, and analyze customer and sales data in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Ongoing market monitoring and competitive analysis within the IT environment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration with an IT focus, or a comparable qualification.
- Some professional experience in IT sales, ideally with OTRS solutions or in the ITSM domain.
- Good understanding of IT service management, helpdesk solutions, and process automation.
- Confident use of common sales tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, ZoomInfo).
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
