About the role
- Reports to Head of Pricing
- Bengaluru (On-site) location; Pricing Analyst responsible for understanding business processes through data analysis and leveraging that knowledge to drive business impact
- Work with marketing, sales and product teams to help make data-driven pricing decisions and improve business performance
- Work with stakeholders to clarify and understand problems and business objectives
- Extract relevant data points from various data sets
- Analyze and identify statistically significant trends or insights to drive improvements
- Prepare and communicate findings to help users easily understand them
- Build reporting and visualizations to allow teams to monitor key KPIs and objectives
- Create and manage documentation on projects, recurring tasks and findings; build an internal knowledge library
Requirements
- 2 years experience as a data/business analyst or similar working with sizable data sets
- Solid knowledge of undergraduate statistics: distributions, uncertainty, biases, hypothesis testing, etc
- Highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets
- Proven ability to communicate findings visually with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or similar
- Highly organized with the ability to work independently
- Basic-to-Intermediate SQL knowledge
