Senior Sales Executive
EasyfairsSenior Sales Executive responsible for new business development and client management in Easyfairs' Industrial Processing Portfolio. Driving revenue growth through exhibits, sponsorships, and advertising in international events.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- New Business Development
- Identify, research and engage prospective exhibitors, sponsors and advertisers.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to win new business across the portfolio.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking and market research.
- Generate revenue through exhibition space, sponsorship, advertising and digital opportunities.
- Consistently exceed individual sales targets and KPIs.
- Account Management & Client Retention
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients.
- Maximise customer retention and drive year-on-year rebook revenue.
- Build strong, consultative relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across the wider portfolio.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure clients achieve strong ROI from their participation.
- Event & Industry Engagement
- Attend industry events, competitor exhibitions and client meetings both in the UK and internationally.
- Represent the portfolio as a trusted industry partner and ambassador.
- Develop a strong understanding of industry trends, market developments and customer needs.
- Work closely with marketing, operations and content teams to support successful event delivery and campaign execution.
- Collaboration & Portfolio Growth
- Contribute ideas and market intelligence to support the strategic growth of the portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver best-in-class customer experiences.
- Take ownership of your territory, pipeline and revenue performance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-4+ years' experience in a sales, account management/key account management, recruitment agency or business development role
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong new business development skills with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
- Experience managing client accounts and building long-term commercial relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and target-driven mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced commercial environment with clear KPIs
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
