About the role

  • The Senior Systems Administrator is accountable for the configuration, maintenance, and operation of the company’s critical enterprise applications/systems.
  • Recommends and researches enhancements to existing enterprise systems and solutions to evolving business needs.
  • Ensures that operating systems, hardware, software systems, and related operating procedures are updated to meet organizational needs.
  • Design and develop strategies for software deployment.
  • Serve as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex systems.
  • Ensure compliance with the companies Access Control Policy and standards while granting elevated system privileges.
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 IT support via e-mail, phone, and face-to-face contacts.
  • Assist employees with advanced technical questions about products and software.
  • Leverage system expertise to diagnose reported issues and resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Actively participate in project management research, system implementations, and a wide range of system administrative duties.
  • Monitor the performance of business-critical servers, software, and hardware.

Requirements

  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
  • A college degree.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Favorable Background, Credit, Criminal, Bondability, and Reference Checks required. (Motor Vehicle check dependent on position.)
  • Travel to other branches or locations may be required depending on position.
  • Will be required to work outside of scheduled hours to respond to technology issues.
