About the role
- The Senior Systems Administrator is accountable for the configuration, maintenance, and operation of the company’s critical enterprise applications/systems.
- Recommends and researches enhancements to existing enterprise systems and solutions to evolving business needs.
- Ensures that operating systems, hardware, software systems, and related operating procedures are updated to meet organizational needs.
- Design and develop strategies for software deployment.
- Serve as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex systems.
- Ensure compliance with the companies Access Control Policy and standards while granting elevated system privileges.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 IT support via e-mail, phone, and face-to-face contacts.
- Assist employees with advanced technical questions about products and software.
- Leverage system expertise to diagnose reported issues and resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.
- Actively participate in project management research, system implementations, and a wide range of system administrative duties.
- Monitor the performance of business-critical servers, software, and hardware.
Requirements
- Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
- A college degree.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Favorable Background, Credit, Criminal, Bondability, and Reference Checks required. (Motor Vehicle check dependent on position.)
- Travel to other branches or locations may be required depending on position.
- Will be required to work outside of scheduled hours to respond to technology issues.
