About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide in-home, ABA-based therapy sessions to families and children on the autism spectrum
- Observe, assess, and interact with participants during home visits
- Lift, carry, and load/unload toys and materials for home visits
- Work Monday through Friday 3PM-8PM and Saturday 9AM-1PM, with at least 15 hours per week
- Complete an initial two-week training schedule
Requirements
What you’ll need- Passion for working with children
- Previous experience working with children or people with special needs and an interest in behavioral health
- Available to work in the afternoons/early evenings and possible weekend morning hours
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license, auto registration, and auto insurance
- Proof of immunization records and TB
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be available for initial 2 week training schedule (M-F, about 35 hours)
- Must be able to lift, carry, and load/unload toys and materials for home visits
- Frequent walking, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and twisting required
- Must be available to work at least 15 hours per week within Monday-Friday 3PM-8PM and Saturday 9AM-1PM
