About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide in-home, ABA-based therapy sessions to families and children on the autism spectrum
  • Observe, assess, and interact with participants during home visits
  • Lift, carry, and load/unload toys and materials for home visits
  • Work Monday through Friday 3PM-8PM and Saturday 9AM-1PM, with at least 15 hours per week
  • Complete an initial two-week training schedule

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Passion for working with children
  • Previous experience working with children or people with special needs and an interest in behavioral health
  • Available to work in the afternoons/early evenings and possible weekend morning hours
  • Must have own reliable transportation
  • Valid driver’s license, auto registration, and auto insurance
  • Proof of immunization records and TB
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Must be available for initial 2 week training schedule (M-F, about 35 hours)
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and load/unload toys and materials for home visits
  • Frequent walking, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and twisting required
  • Must be available to work at least 15 hours per week within Monday-Friday 3PM-8PM and Saturday 9AM-1PM
