About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide quality clinical supervision and work direction to direct reports
- Provide discipline-specific treatment for children with developmental delays, disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders
- Oversee all components of Applied Behavior Analysis programs for the assigned caseload
- Facilitate behavior programs based on Applied Behavior Analysis principles
- Conduct behavior assessments and function as an Assessor when needed
- Provide parent education and develop and deliver intervention activities
- Serve as liaison among the organization, families, community agencies, therapists, and health care providers
- Conduct evaluations, case-management reviews, quality assurance reviews, and audits
- Meet productivity requirements established in the annual budget
- Lead and/or attend staff meetings
- Prepare and provide specialized training and instructional materials
- Define associate responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities
- Manage and evaluate associate performance and productivity in the assigned region
- Train and onboard new associates and provide ongoing and certification-focused training
- Collaborate with the Regional Clinical Director and Human Resources on recruitment and selection
- Attend conferences and trainings to stay current on autism, special education, and related research
- Travel as required
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in ABA or related field
- Must possess and maintain a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Must possess and maintain current CPR certification
- 2-3 years of professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in a multi-disciplinary team setting
- Expert knowledge of scientifically validated methodologies and behavioral analytic approaches benefiting children with ASD
- Expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis intervention approaches
- Competence in Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Behavior Skills Training (BST), and Experimental Functional Analysis (EFA)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and work cooperatively with varied individuals and groups
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive documentation
- Ability to pass a post-offer physical examination and TB test
- Ability to provide proof of required vaccinations or positive titer showing immunity; signed declination may be acceptable for certain vaccinations
- Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation
- Ability to travel locally and maintain a compliant driving record, auto insurance, and vehicle registration
- Up to 50% local travel required
