About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide quality clinical supervision and work direction to direct reports
- Provide discipline-specific treatment for children with developmental delays, disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders
- Oversee all components of Applied Behavior Analysis programs for the assigned caseload
- Facilitate behavior programs based on Applied Behavior Analysis principles
- Conduct behavior assessments and function as an Assessor when needed
- Provide parent education and develop and deliver intervention activities
- Liaise between the organization, families, community agencies, therapists, healthcare providers, regional centers, and school programs
- Conduct evaluations, case-management reviews, quality assurance reviews, and audits
- Meet productivity requirements set by the annual budget
- Lead and/or attend staff meetings
- Prepare and provide specialized training and instructional materials
- Manage and evaluate associate performance and productivity
- Train and onboard new associates and provide ongoing training to Program Managers and Behavior Interventionists
- Work with Regional Clinical Director and Human Resources on recruitment and selection
- Attend conferences and trainings to remain current on autism, special education, and related research
- Travel locally as required, up to 50%
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in ABA or related field
- Must possess and maintain Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Must possess and maintain current CPR certification
- 2–3 years of professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in a multidisciplinary team setting
- Expert knowledge of scientifically validated methodologies and behavioral analytic approaches for children with ASD
- Expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis intervention approaches
- Competence in Pivotal Response Training, Natural Environment Teaching, Picture Exchange Communication System, Behavior Skills Training, and Experimental Functional Analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations
- Ability to pass a post-offer physical examination and TB test
- Ability to provide proof of required vaccinations or positive titer showing immunity
- Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation
- Ability to travel locally; maintain compliant driving record, auto insurance, and vehicle registration
- Occasional exposure to unpleasant or hazardous working conditions
