About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide quality clinical supervision and work direction to direct reports
Provide discipline-specific treatment for children with developmental delays, disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders
Oversee all components of Applied Behavior Analysis programs for the assigned caseload
Facilitate behavior programs based on Applied Behavior Analysis principles
Conduct behavior assessments and function as an Assessor when needed
Provide parent education and develop and deliver intervention activities
Liaise between the organization, families, community agencies, therapists, health care providers, regional centers, and school programs
Conduct evaluations, case-management reviews, quality assurance reviews, and audits
Meet productivity requirements established in the annual budget
Lead and attend staff meetings
Prepare and provide specialized training and instructional materials
Manage and evaluate associate performance and productivity
Train and onboard new associates and provide ongoing training to Program Managers and Behavior Interventionists
Support recruitment and selection of new program associates
Attend conferences and trainings to remain current in autism, special education, and related fields
Travel locally as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree in ABA or a related field
Must possess and maintain Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
Must possess and maintain current CPR certification
2–3 years of professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in a multidisciplinary team setting
Expert knowledge of scientifically validated methodologies and behavioral analytic approaches for children with ASD
Expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis intervention approaches
Competence in Pivotal Response Training, Natural Environment Teaching, Picture Exchange Communication System, Behavior Skills Training, and Experimental Functional Analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations
Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to work cooperatively with varied individuals and groups
Ability to relate well to children and families
Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive documentation
Ability to pass a post-offer physical examination and TB test
Ability to provide proof of required vaccinations or positive immunity titer
Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and FBI
Up to 50% local travel required
Must maintain a compliant driving record, auto insurance, and vehicle registration
