Behavior Interventionist
EastersealsBehavior Interventionist providing in home ABA therapy sessions to children on the autism spectrum. Engaging with them through defined work hours and ongoing training.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide in home, ABA based therapy sessions to families and children on the autism spectrum
- Work in the afternoons/early evenings, and possible weekend morning hours
- Engage in lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading toys and materials for home visits
- Frequent walking, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and twisting to observe, assess, and interact with participants
- Must be available to work at least 15 hours per week within the defined time frame
Requirements
What you’ll need- People with a passion for working with children
- Previous experience working with children or people with special needs
- Available to work in the afternoons/early evenings, and possible weekend morning hours
- Must have own reliable transportation, and valid driver’s license, auto registration and auto insurance
- Proof of immunization records and TB
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be available for initial 2 week training schedule (M-F, about 35 hours)
