About the role

  • Develop strategy, research market conditions and competition for Business Banking, SBA and Treasury
  • Create strategic plans to meet annual objectives and align division strategies with overall bank objectives
  • Work with product and operations teams to ensure divisional competitiveness
  • Design, update and deliver training programs and curriculum across sales, technical, professional, compliance, customer service, and management skills
  • Schedule and market programs and conduct research to keep training materials up-to-date
  • Recommend training solutions to Business, SBA and Treasury groups
  • Own oversight and delivery of Sales Process and Sales Coaching programs for Business, SBA and Treasury
  • Own oversight and delivery of training for the nCino platform and Sales Management/Sales Force platforms; serve as subject matter expert for business lines
  • Create and deliver training on credit, deposit and cross-sell products
  • Develop, maintain and deliver robust onboarding training for Business, SBA and Treasury
  • Provide input on online training content, meet with senior business line leaders, and ensure vendor customizations
  • Expand online delivery channels and recommend tools for online content development and delivery
  • Develop and deliver online content and measure delivery channel effectiveness
  • Collaborate with technology partners to ensure online content runs efficiently on participants' desktops
  • Analyze economic and competitive landscape and conduct needs analysis with senior leaders to determine training protocols

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in related field (or equivalent combination of training and experience)
  • Minimum 10 years teaching and/or training in a business setting or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Minimum 7 years experience working in either Business, SBA or Treasury
  • Minimum 5 years experience in roles requiring strategic planning, program management, project management and sales execution
  • Solid understanding and/or experience in project management
  • Understanding of adult learning styles/theory
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take direction
  • Excellent understanding of database management and data file structure
  • Ability to work at any location during mergers, acquisitions, system upgrades or bank-wide initiatives and work evening and weekend hours on occasion
