IT Support

• Support the following: installation and configuration of hardware, software, operating systems and applications, IT for JML, remote and face-to-face assistance, infrastructure and cloud services operations and monitoring, developing best support standards, manage the service-desk platform, support access elevation.
• Follow best practice and ITSM process to ensure all correct validation and approvals are in place for any change requests.
• Support and resolve any faults with IT hardware while also liaising with third-party companies.
• Provide operational guidance to company users through issues via face to face or remote support or situations they might be struggling with, ensuring calm and open approach is used. Support the IT Support & Operations Manager in the management of EWR Co ICT infrastructure and cloud services to minimise downtime, optimise customer service and ensure compliance.
• Employ ‘best practice’ support standards.
• Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
• Prioritise and manage many open cases at one time.

IT Support Executive

Director

• Develop, implement and continuously improve project control systems and processes to ensure robust planning, scheduling, cost management, and risk mitigation during Design and Delivery. These should be designed and managed recognising the complex network of third-party suppliers involved in the Programme lifecycle.
• Collaborate with project managers, design and delivery teams, finance and commercial departments, and other key stakeholders to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, and governance frameworks, maintaining the highest levels of transparency and accountability.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership, supporting informed decision-making and effective project governance.

Project Controls Director

Procurement

• Responsible for managing the procurement of contracts to support the delivery of the programme.
• This role involves coordinating procurement activities, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organisational standards, while working closely with the commercial strategy and contract management teams.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies for large-scale and complex works contracts.
• Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess market conditions.
• Work with the Supply Chain team to undertake market engagement and test alignment to wider HMG and construction policy.
• Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process, from tendering to contract award including the preparation and issue of tender documents, evaluation of proposals, and management of the selection process to support overall business objectives.
• Support the development of the procurement team, including Assistant Procurement Managers and Apprentices.
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and internal policies throughout the procurement process including issue of relevant public notices and reporting to Cabinet Office and DfT.
• Collaborate with the contract management team to ensure smooth transition post-contract award, continuing to support Contract Management through any stage 1 contracts or early contractor involvement.
• Monitor and report on procurement performance, identifying and addressing any issues.
• Work closely with the Commercial Strategy and Assurance team to align procurement activities with overall business objectives and governance processes.

Procurement Manager

Risk

• Lead on the day-to-day caseload of information requests received under the Freedom of Information Act and Environmental Information Regulations, in compliance with statutory timeframes
• Assist in the recording and housekeeping of all correspondence, including FOI requests logged on the Salesforce CRM system
• Provide support in updating and maintaining EWR Co’s Publication Scheme
• Clarify, analyse and interpret information requests and correspondence enquiries; draft responses as necessary
• Work closely with the Correspondence Manager to seek reviews and approvals for drafts
• Provide specialist advice to colleagues dealing with requests under FOIA and EIR, including exemption and exception advice
• Assist with preparation of information for release under access to information legislation, ensuring accurate and good quality information
• Keep abreast of developments in information access; receive training and disseminate information
• Work with correspondence executives to maintain a list of subject matter experts and store information for regular requests
• Support the Head of External Engagement and act as a trusted advisor and critical friend to the EWR Co Board, Management Team and business

Information Governance Officer

Community Manager

• Work with the Head of Policy, Legacy and Community and Senior Community Engagement Manager to develop and deliver a comprehensive programme of community engagement activity across the route
• Support in the development and delivery of route wide newsletter and identify/manage information points for printed materials
• Deliver in-person engagement with members of the community and identify community stakeholders to engage to help deliver the Comms and Engagement Strategy objectives
• Identify and roll out a programme of community events and activities across the route and organise/co‑ordinate all community-related external events and meetings
• Work with Media team to identify positive communications relating to community activity and events
• Responsible for administration tasks associated with events and logistics, including tracking engagement on the SRM database and taking notes and actions from meetings
• Record all activity so it can feed into the wider Policy, Legacy and Community monthly report and ensure all activity is included in and aligned with the comms grid
