Financial Planning and Analysis

• Assist the Senior Finance Business Partner with all aspects of Management Accounting within the business, including the period-end close (4-weekly) and the drafting of commentary explaining variances to budget or forecast.
• Develop and maintain a business partnering relationship with both the Director and the Directorates that are allocated to you.
• Lead on the resolution of any financial issues that arise in your area and ensure that a high standard of reporting and forecasting is achieved.
• Ensure, by detailed review and analysis, the budget and forecast figures supplied by the business are realistic.
• Assist the Senior Finance Business Partner with the annual cycle of financial planning; from setting the annual Budget to the Quarterly Forecasts.
• Assist the Senior Finance Business Partner with pulling together a medium term (3 – 5 years) financial plan for the company.
• You will assist with the development of the company’s financial reporting functionality both within and outside of the SAP system, to ensure that technology is fully utilised.
• You will be responsible for maintaining the budget and forecasts within the SAP system.

• To lead the strategic and operational management of the IT and Digital procurement category across the organisation, ensuring effective sourcing, supplier management, and delivery of value for money. The role will ensure that all procurement activities fully comply with UK Public Procurement Regulations, Cabinet Office Commercial Policy, and the organisation’s internal governance framework, supporting the efficient and compliant delivery of the project.

Engineering Manager

• Responsible for providing overall leadership, strategic direction, and management oversight for the digital engineering initiative.
• Lead the development and implementation of digital engineering strategies, ensuring they align with overall project goals and EWR priorities.
• Oversee the management of engineering information systems to ensure efficient data flow and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with and support internal stakeholders (e.g., Engineering Head of, Systems Engineering, Asset Management, Environmental, Land & Property and HSSQ) and partner development & information teams to ensure alignment with EWR objectives and priorities and integrate digital solutions into their workflows.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on digital engineering practices, including the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and other advanced technologies.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of engineering data throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of digital engineering processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with external partners and information teams to ensure seamless integration of digital engineering solutions and data sharing.

Digital Engineering Manager

Community Manager

• - Work with the Senior Community Engagement Manager to identify and roll out a programme of community events and activity across the route. This will include regular newsletters, identifying and managing information points for printed materials, and in-person engagement with members of the community.
• - Support in the development and delivery of route wide newsletter.
• - Identify and rollout other activities that support external engagement opportunities across the route including information points.
• - Work with Media team to identify positive communications relating to community activity and events.
• - Responsible for the administration tasks associated with events and logistics, including tracking engagement on the SRM database and taking notes and actions from meetings.
• - Record all activity so it can feed into the wider Policy, Legacy and Community monthly report.
• - Ensure all activity is included in and aligned with the comms grid.
• - Identify community stakeholders to engage to help deliver the objectives in the Comms and Engagement Strategy.
• - Organise and co-ordinate all community-related external events and meetings, and support other stakeholder managers to deliver public-facing activities.

Community Activity Coordinator

• **Role Summary:**
• This is a key role working within the client-side Land & Property Team at EWR Co. reporting to the Head of Land and Property to ensure the successful delivery of the DCO and to secure all the land required for the EWR project.
• **This role will be responsible for leading and managing the acquisition, transfer, management and disposal of land and property to support delivery of the East West Rail Project.**
• This role requires management of our land and property suppliers and close liaison with other teams such as Design, Construction, Railway Operations, Consents, Environment and Stakeholder. It requires oversight of external relations with landowners, their representatives and statutory bodies. It involves strategic oversight, coordination, and integration assurance to achieve project milestones and objectives.
