About the role
- Responsible for supervising and undertaking person-centred functional assessments in people’s homes
- Recommending appropriate housing adaptations to promote independence, safety and wellbeing
- Completing housing needs assessment to provide recommendations to support housing decisions ensuring individuals are matched to accommodation that meets their long-term needs
Requirements
- An Occupational Therapy qualification and registration with the professional regulatory body
- Experience of supervising staff to assist/oversee work within the team, including safeguarding work
- Ability to plan and organise a varied workload for self and others, working to short deadlines within community settings
- Experience of operating under pressure where demand is constant and priorities need to be set/reviewed
