About the role
- Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through active prospecting (email, phone, and LinkedIn).
- Conduct initial conversations to understand the needs of producers and agribusiness companies and assess fit with EarthOptics solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, pipeline, and activities in CRM systems.
- Work in partnership with Account Executives to schedule qualified meetings and support pipeline growth.
- Research target accounts and agricultural markets to identify new business opportunities in Brazil.
- Support the Customer Success team in creating reports for client meetings.
- Identify and implement AI- or agent-based workflows to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of prospecting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Biology, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese.
- Proficiency in English for internal communication.
- Comfortable making calls and engaging with prospective customers.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) - a plus
- Previous experience in startups - a plus
- Experience in the agricultural sector or AgTech - a plus
- Familiarity with the Brazilian agricultural market (soy, corn, sugarcane) - a plus
