About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the fiscal, physical and operational aspects of a portfolio of properties
  • Supervise staff, including Assistants, Property Managers, Floating Managers and other site staff
  • Act as liaison between site teams and central office
  • Conduct monthly meetings
  • Ensure file compliance at each property
  • Work with Development on new acquisitions and developments
  • Maintain desired financial benchmarks
  • Monitor and analyze monthly financials for each property
  • Review, explain and report financial reports to the supervisor, partners and outside agencies
  • Conduct site visits twice monthly to each site
  • Maintain the physical assets of the properties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of multi-site property management experience
  • Strong supervisory experience
  • Experience in affordable housing, including HUD, Tax Credit, RHCP and/or Housing Authority work
  • Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, DFEH and ADA Guidelines
  • Experience communicating with and reporting to HUD, TCAC, RHCP, partners, ownership boards and senior management
  • Current California Real Estate Sales License or ability to obtain one within nine months of hire
  • Valid driver’s license and DMV clearance
  • Access to a reliable vehicle
  • Maintain auto insurance in accordance with EAH minimum requirements
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and any required fingerprinting
  • Successful completion of drug testing within 72 hours of accepting a conditional offer
  • Education and employment history verification
