About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the fiscal, physical and operational aspects of a portfolio of properties
Supervise staff, including Assistants, Property Managers, Floating Managers and other site staff
Act as liaison between site teams and central office
Conduct monthly meetings
Ensure file compliance at each property
Work with Development on new acquisitions and developments
Maintain desired financial benchmarks
Monitor and analyze monthly financials for each property
Review, explain and report financial reports to the supervisor, partners and outside agencies
Conduct site visits twice monthly to each site
Maintain the physical assets of the properties

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years of multi-site property management experience
Strong supervisory experience
Experience in affordable housing, including HUD, Tax Credit, RHCP and/or Housing Authority work
Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, DFEH and ADA Guidelines
Experience communicating with and reporting to HUD, TCAC, RHCP, partners, ownership boards and senior management
Current California Real Estate Sales License or ability to obtain one within nine months of hire
Valid driver’s license and DMV clearance
Access to a reliable vehicle
Maintain auto insurance in accordance with EAH minimum requirements
Successful completion of criminal background check and any required fingerprinting
Successful completion of drug testing within 72 hours of accepting a conditional offer
