• Accurately process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payrolls across multiple clients, ensuring compliance with wage, hour, and tax regulations.
• Maintain and update payroll records in HRIS and payroll records, ensuring data accuracy, proper coding, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Coordinate administrative tasks for annual benefits open enrollment, including updating systems and distributing employee communications.
• Support annual benefits open enrollment, including system updates, employee communications, and carrier coordination.
• Prepare payroll and benefits reports (e.g., wage summaries, deductions, tax filings, 401(k) contributions).
• Serve as the first point of contact for client and employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and general HR policies.
• Assist with client onboarding, including system configuration, employee data setup, and review of compliance documentation.
• Provide administrative support for paid leave programs by accurately processing leave requests, tracking balances, and maintaining related documentation.
• Partner with HR team members to maintain employee records and HR documentation, ensuring completeness and confidentiality.

• Conduct payroll and benefits audits, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions to maintain data integrity and compliance.

• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure accurate payroll-related reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Stay current with legislative and regulatory changes in payroll, taxation, and benefits compliance; communicate updates and best practices to clients.
• Troubleshoot payroll system issues, liaising with vendors and technical support as needed.
• Partner with clients to design and implement process automation, digital tools, and self-service solutions that increase efficiency and employee satisfaction.

Payroll and Benefits Consultant

Onboarding Specialist

• Contribute to the development, documentation, and ongoing refinement of a comprehensive, client‑focused, and scalable client onboarding process for e2E.
• Create, own, and manage assigned client onboarding activities, serving as a key point of contact for accounting and finance‑related onboarding tasks.
• Review prospect introduction call notes and recordings to understand client goals, engagement scope, and onboarding requirements.
• Develop onboarding request lists, timelines, schedules, and agendas, and actively monitor progress against internal and client service‑level agreements (SLAs).
• Proactively communicate status updates, risks, scheduling changes, or deviations to the Chief Client Success Officer and the Client Onboarding team.
• Establish and manage onboarding schedules and task calendars for each assigned client.
• Coordinate payroll setup activities, including transitioning payroll providers when required.
• Perform general ledger mapping and ensure alignment with e2E accounting standards.
• Review, update, and correct client accounting records to ensure accurate accounting practices and compliance.
• Identify and implement efficiencies within client accounting files, including bank rules, automated processes, and report generation.
• Produce the first month of full‑charge bookkeeping for new clients as part of the onboarding process.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all adjusting journal entry schedules.
• Draft accounting manuals and onboarding checklists for new clients using established templates.
• Facilitate a smooth handoff and transition of clients from onboarding to the internal accounting team.
• Initiate and implement continuous improvement efforts to enhance the onboarding experience, internal workflows, efficiency, and scalability.
• Perform additional onboarding tasks and client‑related projects as assigned.

Client Onboarding Consultant

Accounting Manager

• Record client transactions involving cash receipts, disbursements, accounts receivable, inventory, and accounts payable to general ledger accounts.
• Receive, record, and deposit cash, checks, and vouchers in client bank accounts as necessary.
• Process client invoices and assist Accounting Consultants with preparing client billings.
• Process invoices, vendor payments, and employee expense reports using accounting and online banking platforms.
• Assist Accounting Consultants in recording, reconciling, and reviewing accounting data by compiling statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and profits and losses.
• Provide guidance to the client on accounting best practices and internal policies.
• Monitor client finance email(s) and maintain professional communication with vendors and client teams.
• Collaborate with the Human Resources and Payroll and Benefits Consultants to ensure payroll related information is communicated.
• Perform client payroll and benefit-related reconciliations to the general ledger and other accounts; process related invoices and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform other duties and client-related projects as assigned.

Accounting Specialist

Controller

• Review or prepare financial statements, schedules, and reports; journal entries; fixed asset schedules; payroll; and other general accounting functions for assigned clients.
• Consult with clients on accounting, tax, and business matters, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, cash management, debt management, sales and use tax, and regulatory filings.
• Oversee or assist with client invoicing, accounts payable processing, and ACH transactions as needed.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and prepare reports to keep clients informed and support strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain internal systems, processes, and quality controls to ensure compliance deadlines are met and reporting integrity is maintained.
• Mentor and coach client accounting team members to foster growth and deliver exceptional client service.
