About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer and effectively transfer knowledge for E2IQ Development technical training programs
- Deliver introductory and technical bootcamps, customized technical instruction, and ad hoc tutoring
- Develop new training curriculum and maintain existing training content
- Collaborate with local leadership to define technical training needs and deliver timely training events
- Incorporate required skills and competencies into training content
- Administer academic and hands-on training that emulates client-site execution expectations
- Develop training materials using a variety of media
- Transfer knowledge to trainees using effective teaching and learning strategies
- Maintain industry knowledge through academic, professional, and technical development activities
- Collaborate with Operations, Safety, and Quality to design internal technical training programs
- Conduct Train the Trainer activities
- Work with internal customers to develop standards consistent with training content
- Promote E2 Optics policies, programs, services, and Core Values
- Follow company and client worksite safety policies and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED required
- Manufacturer technical certifications, such as Fluke, Corning, or CommScope
- BICSI Installation certification preferred
- 30-hour OSHA certification required
- 2+ years of construction, telecommunications, or data center industry experience
- Strong background in multiple facets of technology
- Familiarity with Fluke, Viavi, and other testing equipment
- Solid working knowledge of personnel training principles, procedures, and methodology
- Ability to read technical specifications and blueprints
- Current knowledge of industry practices, procedures, codes, standards, and operations
- Ability to review and analyze internal and external subject matter and assign continuing education credits according to established policies and procedures
- Ability to evaluate training needs, training methods, and training strategy development
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands and arms, communicate verbally, stoop, and kneel
- Ability to regularly lift or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to carry and climb ladders up to 20 feet
- Ability to operate scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs when required
- Ability to work in tight and confined spaces
