About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate medium utility projects directly
- Partner with project managers and project staff to move projects into construction
- Maintain project logs, records, critical action item lists, and documentation filing systems
- Audit project files for compliance
- Track document revisions and distribution
- Monitor engineering and design efforts
- Coordinate disciplines to resolve issues and support project schedules
- Track expediting of designs, materials, and permits to keep projects on schedule
- Assist with project meetings, agendas, meeting minutes, action items, and task completion
- Verify project and organizational deliverables
- Monitor budgets, costs, labor hours, procurement, invoices, and payments
- Assist with presentations and maintain project documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Business, or related; equivalent experience with customer approval
- 3–5+ years’ experience providing direct project coordination or scheduling support to Program or Project Managers on electrical, civil, and/or gas programs/projects
- Scheduling, Project Management, or related certifications, training, or demonstrated experience
- Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera (P6), Smartsheet, Procore, and/or equivalent project management planning tools
- Excellent communication skills with customers, construction contractors, land/survey, field construction advisors, internal support teams, and others
- Ability to provide high levels of customer service to project owners/customers
- Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, timely updates, and communicating necessary updates
- Experience managing/scheduling multiple projects simultaneously while handling additional responsibilities

- Ability to sit/stand for up to 8 hours per day
- Ability to move freely for up to 8 hours per day
