About the role
- Design and develop cathodic protection systems for pipelines, tanks, and other infrastructure
- Conduct field surveys and assessments to determine the condition of existing cathodic protection systems
- Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and technical reports
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project proposals
- Provide technical support during installation and commissioning of cathodic protection systems
Requirements
- 4-10 years of experience in cathodic protection design
- Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD and CP design tools
- Strong understanding of corrosion principles and protection methods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Corrosion Science, or a related field preferred
- Certification from the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) as a Cathodic Protection Technician or Specialist preferred
