About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a senior writer and editor across various content formats
Act as the team's day-to-day guardian of brand voice and tone
Ensure adherence to the Dechert writing style guide
Proofread, copyedit and edit work produced by partners and colleagues
Develop audience-first content that aligns with communication goals
Collaborate with attorneys, practice group leaders, and marketing colleagues
Own the triage and routing of incoming content requests
Monitor content for consistency, accuracy, and brand alignment

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience in a writing and editorial role
Exceptional writing and editing skills across various content types
Experience writing for web and SEO/GEO best practices knowledge a plus
Strong instinct for brand voice and tone
Outstanding written and spoken English
Maturity and sound judgment in handling sensitive matters
Experience working in a law firm or professional services organization preferred
