Key responsibilities & impact

The Senior Business Architect plays a critical role within the portfolio and PMO ecosystem by ensuring enterprise strategy is translated into coherent, investment‑ready business capabilities, value streams, and target operating models.
Partner closely with Portfolio Management, Finance, Product, Operations, and Technology leaders to evaluate proposed initiatives, validate business cases, and align investments to strategic priorities.
Identify cross‑portfolio dependencies, capability gaps, and redundancies, enabling more informed prioritization and sequencing of work.
Facilitate participative decision making and planning workshops with senior leaders.
Provide consulting to senior and mid-level leadership on complex business problems, and advise on low-risk/high-value alternatives.
Apply business management consulting tools to remove ambiguity, and drive data-driven decisions making and planning.
Conduct analysis of business current and future states, performance gaps, and their root causes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or advanced degree
5+ years of experience in related field
In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field
Demonstrated experience working in a consultative, advisory capacity
