About the role

  • Design and build scalable platform infrastructure using modern cloud technologies and infrastructure-as-code practices, with a primary focus on Terraform for AWS and co-located hosted servers.
  • Contribute to the growth and maturation of our platform.
  • Work autonomously as part of a small Platform Engineering team; demonstrate a strong ability to learn new technologies, evaluate them, and implement them.
  • Join an agile team that implements and operates containerization on our Kubernetes cluster to run production applications, and strive to create solutions that are reusable, scalable, and driven by automation.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance measures as part of platform design and delivery.
  • Maintain and monitor platform health, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability across environments.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and provide support and knowledge sharing for internal users.

Requirements

  • Degree in (business) information technology or a comparable field of study or vocational training.
  • Extensive experience with infrastructure automation and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform), or a strong willingness to develop these skills further.
  • Familiarity with Git-based workflows and GitOps.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Argo CD, Helm) is highly advantageous.
  • Experience with AWS (or other cloud providers) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Active Directory, scripting languages such as PowerShell, web-based authentication flows such as OAuth or SAML, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Splunk, etc., is desirable.
  • Self-driven mindset with a passion for automation, scalability, and continuous improvement.
  • Very good English skills (equivalent to CEFR level B2 or higher).
