Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze energy efficiency program data using Excel and other tools
Evaluate and develop methodologies and algorithms to determine electric and fossil fuel savings for residential, commercial, and industrial energy efficiency technologies and programs
Calculate energy and demand savings associated with prescriptive and custom energy efficiency measures implemented in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
Conduct on-site verification of energy efficiency measures
Produce high-quality reports and presentations based on engineering methods and findings
Support additional evaluation and research activities as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hold a bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in engineering, physics, environmental sciences, or a related field
Have completed coursework, projects, or professional experience (internship or co-op) related to energy consumption, energy efficiency, clean energy, or sustainability in the built environment
Have an understanding of the engineering principles underlying building energy use
Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and have some familiarity with Python
Are detail-oriented with strong attention to quality assurance
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and solid technical research abilities
Thrive when managing multiple time-sensitive priorities
