About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze energy efficiency program data using Excel and other tools
- Evaluate and develop methodologies and algorithms to determine electric and fossil fuel savings for residential, commercial, and industrial energy efficiency technologies and programs
- Calculate energy and demand savings associated with prescriptive and custom energy efficiency measures implemented in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
- Conduct on-site verification of energy efficiency measures
- Produce high-quality reports and presentations based on engineering methods and findings
- Support additional evaluation and research activities as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hold a bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in engineering, physics, environmental sciences, or a related field
- Have completed coursework, projects, or professional experience (internship or co-op) related to energy consumption, energy efficiency, clean energy, or sustainability in the built environment
- Have an understanding of the engineering principles underlying building energy use
- Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and have some familiarity with Python
- Are detail-oriented with strong attention to quality assurance
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and solid technical research abilities
- Thrive when managing multiple time-sensitive priorities
