About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You are responsible for planning, coordinating and executing investment and maintenance projects for E.DIS Netz’s medium-voltage/low-voltage and gas networks (focus on gas).
You perform network calculations and determine network construction measures and connection variants, taking into account system concepts and target network planning.
You also support the operation and maintenance of gas networks and associated facilities, including documentation and record-keeping, and you coordinate switching operations and commissioning.
You are responsible for negotiations and coordination with authorities, customers and third parties in matters of land-sharing and compensation.
You handle fault and incident investigations as well as complaint management and participate in on-call duty.
You assist in developing company standards and guidelines and ensure compliance with legal and operational regulations and quality standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need

You hold a technical university or university of applied sciences degree (Diploma/Master) or an equivalent qualification.
Preferably an engineering-technical qualification in gas/energy/utilities engineering.
Entry-level candidates are welcome.
Ideally you already have experience in this field or knowledge of the DVGW e.V. regulations.
You are proficient with common MS Office applications and ideally have experience with IT systems such as SAP and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
You demonstrate strong communication and cooperation skills as well as a high degree of goal orientation and self-motivation.
Ideally you can provide authorization to access secured areas / hold site keys.
You hold a driver’s license class B (formerly class 3).
Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.
